Happy almost new year!!

Happy almost new year!! I will post again "next year"!!!

Farewell, saige!!

Dear saige,
You were a great GOTY, but unfortunately your job is through, and you will retire tonight at 12:00. You taught girls all over about taking a stand, believing in yourself, and how to make new friends but keep the old. You rode Picasso in the parade, raised money for the art and music program, and helped your grandmother through tough times. I hope you feel good about your year, as it was great. I wish you the best of luck as you enjoy your retirement , meet McKenna, kanani and Laine, and move into the archives. You will be greatly missed!
Sincerely,
American girl doll lover 4 ever

I changed my goal!!

Hi!! I realized that in order to follow someone, they have to have a social networking account, which I do not have. So, instead of my goal of 10 followers, I am changing it to ten comments on this post, each by a different author. The prizes are still the same, so please comment!! Sorry for the confusion!!

My goal

Hey guys!!!!!! I was wondering if you could help me achieve my goal of 10 followers by March 25th,  my birthday. It would me a lot to me, and the first 10 followers get a shout out post, one for each of them, and everyone after them will hopefully get a badge to put on their blogs. I am still a little unsure about how to make badge to copy and paste, but will try my best. This my New Years goal, but feel free to follow before January 1st. Thanks!!!!

McDonald's toys for dolls

I am not a big fan of McDonald's, but I love their toys!!! Recently, they were giving away mini build-a-bears in the kids meal. How many of you got one? Although I do not always order the meals, sometimes my younger brothers accidently get a girl toy, in which case I get it. Luckily, the people were not paying attention and that happened when the build a bear toys were out. Sorry
boys, yay for me!!!! Anyway, these stuffed animals are perfect for ag's!!!! They are the
perfect size!! If you want one and did not get it, there are people who sell McDonald's toys new on eBay. Check it out!!!!!

Brand new doll!!

Ok, so here is the exciting news!! Yesterday, I went on michaels.com and looked for coupons. Guess what!! I found a 50% coupon that expired that day!! I knew from my 2 million visits to michaels that the Springfield dolls were only 21.99!! So I decided to use my 50% off coupon on that. The only problem was that I did not have 11.00. So I told my mom that I really wanted a doll, and that I would rake our huge backyard for 11.00. My mom agreed, and after a good hour of raking, I finished. Later that same day, I went to Michaels to pick the doll of my choice. When I got there, I went right to the Springfield doll section. They had Emma, Maria, Abby, and one Olivia with an already opened box. I was unsure of which doll to get, but finally decided on Emma, whom I renamed Vanessa. I picked Emma mostly because of her hair. It was long and soft, and after being slept on, still is. I feel so blessed and excited to be able to own a Springfield doll. I had never owned a Springfield doll, but now I do!! I am so happy!! I will be posting more about Emma, as she is a beautiful doll!!!

American girl store Palo Alto

Hi! Sorry I did not post last Sunday. I was very tired from american girl, and was then locked out of my account for a week until I finally remembered my password! But now I will do a rating on the ag store:

Line/wait: the line was very long, and we did not get in till 8:00 at night, but american girl stayed open for another hour after their closing time so we could explore. I thought that was nice, so I give them a 4/5 on the line.

Checkout: the checkout line was very long, and I felt that they should of had more people at checkout, so I give them a 2/5.

Free gift: the free gift was awesome! In case you were wondering, it was a Samantha paper doll book. I give it a 5/5!

Overall experience: I loved the store, and although it is much smaller, it is sure to be popular. I give it a 5/5!

At the store, I bought two things:
1. A mini felicity doll
2. An american girl store exclusive shirt for dolls

Thanks for reading! Comment about what you thought of the store!

Sending my thoughts and well wishes to the philliphines

It is me again! I just wanted to send my best wishes to those affected by the recent typhoon. I wish to do anything I can to help them rebuild, and rebuild stronger. I think sometimes people forget how much they have, like hot water and food. So the next time you go into your house, remember to be thankful to be able to have a place of your own, because most people in the philliphines do not. My ag dolls and I send our well wishes to them!!

I'm back! Plus some news!

I am back! Sorry I was gone so long. School has kept me busy, busy, busy! But I promise to try my best to post more! I have some very exciting news, though! On November sixteenth and seventeenth, the newest American Girl store is opening !!!! It is located in San Francisco/Palo alto, at Stanford shopping center! I am eager to check it out!!! Comment down below if you are going to the opening, too! I cannot wait!!! Check back for some more posts during the week!

How to make a pair of crutches for dolls!

Ok so in my last post, I taught you guys how to make a doll cast. But then I realized that with out crutches, your american girl can not get around on a broken leg! So here is a super quick way to make doll crutches!
What you need:
8- bendy straws- the kind you have in a drink.
1- roll of  tape

Steps:
1. Take two of the eight straws and tape them together in a "v" shape.
2. Take another straw and tape it to the "v" so it will look like a "Y"
3. Use one more straw and tape across the top of the "Y".
4. Repeat to make another crutch.

Happy crafting! Craft at your own risk!

P.S. leave your comments! I will respond ASAP!

How to make a super easy doll cast

Hey guys!! Today I am going to tell you how to make a super easy, free doll cast!!!

Ok, so here is what you need:
1- long piece of toilet paper. About 10-15 sheets, depending on how long you want it.
1- roll of tape. Any type works, I use scotch tape, which they usually sell at dollar stores.
1- 18 inch doll that you want to have a cast. Don't worry, the casts easily come off.

1. Lay down your doll and decide if you want the cast on her arm or leg.
2. Take the toilet paper and start wrapping the arm or leg. This can be hard, but experiment and play around with it.
3. Continue wrapping. When you are done, put a piece of tape to make it stay.

Happy crafting! And remember, craft at your own risk!!
